About Dr. Will Vaughn

Performance Rehab and Chiropractic was founded by Dr. Will Vaughn, D.C., a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an Elite Provider and Trainer of Active Release Techniques.

Dr. Vaughn created Performance Rehab and Chiropractic with the philosophy of combining therapies and collaborating with other health care professionals to offer patients the best care in the fewest number of visits.

At his practice, Dr. Vaughn offers traditional chiropractic care with a specialized form of therapy called Active Release Techniques. Chiropractic focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and uses spinal manipulations, or adjustments, to treat pain and mobility issues in the back, neck, joints and other areas of the body. Active Release Techniques, or A.R.T., on the other hand, is a soft-tissue approach that treats problems in muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.

Using this multifaceted approach tailored to each individual patient’s needs, Dr. Vaughn has had success in treating athletes — ranging from high-school to Ironman competitors — as well as office workers, manual laborers, and people who have experienced accident traumas and injuries. No matter the patient, the goal is the same: to get back to optimal performance.

In addition to treating patients at his Performance Rehab and Chiropractic practice in Madison, Dr. Vaughn also provides onsite care at corporations throughout southern Wisconsin. Over the past 10 years, he has taken on more than 12,000 corporate cases. His expertise in the corporate healthcare environment led him to co-found The Health Authority to create innovative, collaborative and multifaceted solutions to workplace well-being issues.
